The original lawsuit, hailed by lawyers as the largest sex discrimination class-action in U.S. history when it was filed in 2001, claimed that Wal-Mart paid female workers less than male colleagues and gave them fewer promotions.

Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer and largest private U.S. employer, had asked the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco to undo class-action certification in the case that alleged discrimination in its more than 3,000 stores.

"It's a huge win for the plaintiffs, and a tremendous loss for Wal-Mart," said Paul Secunda, an associate professor of law at Marquette University Law School. Given the number of employees involved and many years of pay at issue, he said "the amount of liability can be many billions of dollars."

The lawsuit's reemergence follows years of work by Wal-Mart to improve its image, from efforts to become more eco-friendly to mobilizing resources for disaster relief.

Wal-Mart shares closed down 0.9 percent at $54.04 on the New York Stock Exchange. Analysts said the small decline may reflect that fact that investors know the case still faces years of litigation."

Wal-Mart has been the biggest and one of the cheapest retailers for years and years and people always wanted to know how they can afford to sell items so cheap...This is because their employees barely have any type of benefits...

Wal-Mart does not allow health benefits so why is it such a shock that they dont give women the same of chances as men...They only offers non-union jobs that hurt job markets and honest labor...and they also get cheap items from sweatshops and sell them here....

The iPad is indeed just an iPhone on steroids. Have you seen all of those Apple tablet renderings before the launch? Some of them were great and a giant iPhone or a giant Itouch is just ugly. There are and there will be more detailed and better tablets on the market.

The Apple iPad is expensive and you cannot use regular connectors from your other devices. You will have to use some expensive Apple stuff. A physical keyboard is not included in the package, you will have to buy it yourself. Want a camera? Pay for it! Can you buy a conventional camera? No, you have to buy Apple’s camera connection kit. The iPad case is also not included in the package so this means that you will have to dig deep into your pockets.

We were all expecting something innovative from Apple and a new OS would have been great. iPhone OS 3.2 is no improvement over iPhone OS 3.1.3 currently available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The iPad really is just a big iPhone and that will not help you at all.

You might purchase videos from the iTunes store and download them to your iPad. You could watch them on the large 9-inch screen, however, I’d like to watch it on a HDTV. Oh, there’s not HDMI port, not even a TV-out connector.

This Ipad the next generation of crap all this thing is a gimic for Apple to attempt to squeeze as much money out of Iphone craze before it begins to die down. Apple has run out of steam on new products after the Iphone and Itouch came out...and the worst part is the Ipad is apparently geared towards the older generation who would want a bigger screen...gee let me think what will be better checking my email in my handheld iphone or reaching for my dumass big Ipad from my bag...BooM

"It's not a joke. It's serious. Having regular physical exercises also means sex, always with protection of course," he said.

"Dancing, having sex, keeping weight under control, changing dietary habits, doing physical exercise" all help keep blood pressure down, he said.

He added that he believed there was a health "time bomb" ticking in Brazil, which within 20 years could see a "gigantic percentage" of the population suffering chronic illnesses, high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol.

1. nationality/ethnicity - i know many say they dont care about where people are and its about the person but when people are close in ethnicity they tend to get along better and understand each other on cultural behaviors.
2. religion - is similar to ethnicity even though there are plenty of people who date outside of their religion and alot of people dont care about it but usually if u find someone with the same beliefs the relationship tends to run smoother.
3. family - it is important when a man wants to introduce a girl to his family it shows a simple sign of respect and a great deal of wanting her to fit into your personal life not just his outside life.
4. friends - all people wether men or women need to respect their partners friends but when a guys group of friends truly fit with your personality and everything goes smoothly (they like you, you like them) this definitely helps and strengthens one's relationship
5. habits - this ones tricky because every woman has little bits of things they want in a man. there are of course certain things that will tick a girl off but if his habits tend to be better then worse a girl can and will overlook the bad things.
6. sex - its not all about sex but sex does play an important role. sometimes if its bad you can practice make it better but initially the sex must be good. if the relationship strengthens the sex will as well or wise versa.
7. trust - when a men trusts a woman or at least doesn't doubt her or want to change her this shows he truly cares for her.
8. respect - this is huge woman want and need to be respected. even though there are plenty of women who overlook when guys act like assholes and still stick it out in a relationship, a true partner and loved one will never disrespect you.
9. gentleman - a guy who opens the doors, pays for dinner, and puts you on a pedestal (not spoil you) but treats you like the great woman you are.
10. friendship - a guy your dating not only has to be your partner but also your friend. you should be comfortable to hang out without always wanting to be lovey-dovey. if you two can hang out and be comfortable with each other without growing others out including each others friends and truly are there for each other your relationship will get stronger.

K now these qualities are all well and good, but when a girl completely gets overrun by the list its no bueno. Girls tend to turn a man and dating into an interview process...Women need to understand that yes good qualities are important but they will miss out on alot of good guys that dont make 10 out of 10. Definition of dumb: dense, slow to learn or understand. The exact definition of the majority of celebrities now a days. This isn't to say some of them aren't intellectual or even to the standards of being moral and good people but the younger generation definitely is dumb. Take Lindsay Lohan all of her life is and has been and will be publicized by the paparazzi because she allows it. I know it's difficult to keep the cameras out and private info private, once your famous, but it's not hard to keep your pride and your morals intact. There are plenty of celebrities who have their private info shared, but are not considered dumb. And I would put money down that many don't know or don't even care much about these celebrities. The younger generation thinks in order to be famous you must say and do anything even if it makes you look slutty, skanky or degrades one, or their families, in anyway. A few months ago Tyra Banks had 4 young girls on her tv show to ask them to what degree they would change their lives in order to become famous. One girl said she would alter her appearance in anyway the modeling industry wanted her to seem even if it meant painful surgery that really wasn't necessary. The second one said she would say her family was drug addicts just to get her name published in a magazine. A tabloid magazine. What kind of person would degrade not just herself but her own family? A dumb-ass thats who. The other two had similar answers. So let me ask the readers. To what degree would you exploit your life to be famous?
