"People need to be active. A weekend football game must not be the only physical activity for a Brazilian. Adults need to do exercise: walk, dance and have safe sex," said Jose Gomes Temporao.

The minister gave the advice as he launched a campaign to prevent high blood pressure, which afflicts a quarter of Brazil's 190-million strong population.

After making his unusual comments, Mr Temporao defended his promotion of sexual intercourse to journalists, according to the G1 news website.

"It's not a joke. It's serious. Having regular physical exercises also means sex, always with protection of course," he said.

"Dancing, having sex, keeping weight under control, changing dietary habits, doing physical exercise" all help keep blood pressure down, he said.

He added that he believed there was a health "time bomb" ticking in Brazil, which within 20 years could see a "gigantic percentage" of the population suffering chronic illnesses, high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol.

3. family - it is important when a man wants to introduce a girl to his family it shows a simple sign of respect and a great deal of wanting her to fit into your personal life not just his outside life.
4. friends - all people wether men or women need to respect their partners friends but when a guys group of friends truly fit with your personality and everything goes smoothly (they like you, you like them) this definitely helps and strengthens one's relationship
5. habits - this ones tricky because every woman has little bits of things they want in a man. there are of course certain things that will tick a girl off but if his habits tend to be better then worse a girl can and will overlook the bad things.
6. sex - its not all about sex but sex does play an important role. sometimes if its bad you can practice make it better but initially the sex must be good. if the relationship strengthens the sex will as well or wise versa.
7. trust - when a men trusts a woman or at least doesn't doubt her or want to change her this shows he truly cares for her.
8. respect - this is huge woman want and need to be respected. even though there are plenty of women who overlook when guys act like assholes and still stick it out in a relationship, a true partner and loved one will never disrespect you.
9. gentleman - a guy who opens the doors, pays for dinner, and puts you on a pedestal (not spoil you) but treats you like the great woman you are.
10. friendship - a guy your dating not only has to be your partner but also your friend. you should be comfortable to hang out without always wanting to be lovey-dovey. if you two can hang out and be comfortable with each other without growing others out including each others friends and truly are there for each other your relationship will get stronger.

K now these qualities are all well and good, but when a girl completely gets overrun by the list its no bueno. Girls tend to turn a man and dating into an interview process...Women need to understand that yes good qualities are important but they will miss out on alot of good guys that dont make 10 out of 10. Why is it when people make millions of dollars and are in the public eye...they become stupid? I personally cannot believe the level of dumbassness these celebs achieve once they are loved and have the money rolling in. Lets see what celebs were dumb enough to get caught: Tiki Barber, Jesse James, Tiger Woods, Jon Gosselin, and Josh Duhamel to name a few. First of all cheating is never ok, but it sure as hell not ok when you can lose half of everything you own. If your gonna cheat atleast be smart about it lol. Come on Guys lets be honest how are u gonna cheat on your wife with like 10 different girls (cough cough Tiger Woods) and expect never to get caught? All those woman wanted one thing from you Tiger your money...Dont think your all slick and your a ladies man. YOUR NOT...you play golf nothing to write home about...Those girls wants that nice $$ you got, so not only are you cheating and your wife will take you to the cleaners, but now your paying off random girls for one night thousands or dollars for them not to show those texts and pictures.
